Santa Baby
For the Christmas Season and since I have not done much scrapping lately, here is a repost one of my favorites pictures of Olivia from the past Christmas Season. I used one of the Websters pages "Winter's Wings" pages, distressed cardboard painted ivory, cheesecloth , Prima poinsettias and "say it with pearls. I love this paper line, the colors are gorgeous without being too Christmasy (if that is a word. Cardboard and cheesecloth are my new favorite page treatment, give it that "oh so shabby look" Thanks for looking.

Kiss Kiss
Looking back at these photos I can't believe Olivia was ever that small. Where does all the time go? This is a layout wth an Older Basic Grey line before they got into the funky look they have now. The corrugated board started out white then I glimmer misted it and added ink and white paint. As always Prima Goodies and a sweet ribbon that says kiss, kiss, kiss.....

Picking Pumpkins
I love the month of October and Halloween especially. Candy, the smell of candles buring in pumpkins and costumes. There is nothing more exiting than picking out your pumpkins and designing their faces. To get us in the mood I am posting a picture from last year pumpkin picking adventure at Mother Nature Farms in Chandler. This is really a great place to take the kids. Doesn't break the bank to get in, they have all sorts of pumpkins to buy, hay rides and farm animals for the kids to enjoy.

Fairy Girl
It is almost Halloween again, where did the year go?. Last year Olivia let me pick her costume. I fell in love with this Tinkerbell costume. This year I have a feeling we are going to have a big poufy pink princess. Good luck finding Halloween scrapbook papers to match that. Well I have never been good about scrapping with holiday paper though I sure keep buying it.

One
This is a layout of Olivia's first birthday. She got upset when she got frosting on her hands and started to cry. This is actually the 3rd version the other 2 were torn apart since they did not quite do it for me. This version I really like. I kept trying to do birthday-ish themes or use birthday paper which is not really me. I just need to remember to use what I normally would and it comes together alot better.

Earth Angel
Not sure why I am into blue all of the sudden but I especially like aqua with Olivia's skin tone. I wish I had such beautiful skin. This also has one of my favorite Melissa Frances embellishments, the angel wing and of course copious amount of my signature cheesecloth.
On another note, if you are in Chandler tomorrow between 1:00 - 3;00, come to Paper Vineyard for my distressed card make and take, free for the for the first 25 I am told. Enjoy!

Sizzix Vagabond
Just saw a web demo from this and it is amazing. The sides pop open to reveal the cutting platform. Not only is it super cute, but it cut grungeboard like butter but then Tim embossed it and sheets of canvas. The texture was amazing "Sizzix Tim Holtz Vagabond -Resembling a well-traveled suitcase on the outside, the Vagabond Machine easily opens up to reveal a portable, motorized machine that packs plenty of powerful cutting and embossing possibilities, including many different materials and thicknesses. Can you think of anything better to bring on your creative journey? Cuts and embosses heavier material including acrylic, grungeboard, chipboard, book board, metal, canvas, and more. Electric Motor is super quiet. Included with the Vagabond Machine is a pair of Standard Cutting Pads, as well as the Solo Platform and Shim, which make all Sizzix components compatible with the Vagabond Machine. Add a Solo Adapter (sold separately), and the Vagabond Machine can even work with other brands' dies and embossing tools! "

Bathing Beauties
In honor of the last weekend in "summer" (though summer in AZ will last another 2 months) I am posting a layout I did last year and never got around to taking a picture of. In fact, spent all morning taking pics of past layouts so expect a flurry of new posts over the next few weeks. I love to buy stuff and create the layouts but when it comes to gluing or taking pics of the finished project I lose my enthusiasm. Hence the massive delay in posts. My hubby just made me a nifty new stand for displaying layouts but it works great for photos. Happy Labor Day.

Halloween in Wonderland
Well, I have made the leap from student to teacher and am taching my first class at Paper Vineyard in Oct. It is a Halloween mini-book with the new Graphic 45 Halloween Line. How can you go wrong with a como of Halloween, Alice in Wonderland and G45. Book is filled with pretty trims, games pieces and a technique or two. I am especially addicted to glimmer mist right now and misted alot of the embellies on the book. If you are local, come take my class! Thanks for looking.

7 Gypsy Print Tray
It has been awhile since my last post, I have been doing some scrapping but have taken few pics. Here is a project I made for my Mom which represents our vacations together in Gold Beach, the most relaxing place on Earth! I love these print trays, they have a million possibilites. Inspired by how much I enjoyed creating this tray, I went out and bought the receipt tray and that will be my next project. Hope you enjoy.

New Websters Pages
Well, I have finally gotten my hands on some of the new Prima flowers and papers Thursday. I was so inspired that I actually knocked out a layout in a few hours, a rarity for me. Maybe my adhesive phobia is getting better. Though I do not that with Zip Dry you actually call pull up stuff and redo if needed. In any case...
I can't wait to get my hands now on the new Websters Pages, Lullaby Lane and Life's portrait especially. It is just too cute and the embellishments are gorgeous. Also everything I see says not shipping until the end of this month...so I guess I will have to try and be patient.

New Year - new chances
Olivia's scrap album has grinded to a halt since I started the new job. I wish I could say the same about my shopping for supplies. Holy cow, I can't believe how much stuff I have now, had to devote a whole huge drawer just to my flowers. Since I am off this week, I am hoping to get a few of the half done pages out at least. I really need to use up some of this stuff.!!
Here is an older layoff of "my angel" that I did not get around to posting after I finished. Used distressed cardboard, old pattern paper and Prima galaxy stars.
